About the Author
Louie Orbeta is a cybersecurity and IT infrastructure leader with over 25 years of experience in complex environments. He focuses on cybersecurity strategy, risk management, governance, incident response, and resilience planning. His work connects technology, cybersecurity, and business risk so organizations make informed decisions, modernize securely, and strengthen resilience.
As a cybersecurity leader at one of Canada’s busiest airports, Louie helped protect critical airport operations and strengthen resilience through secure technology. He translated technical risk into clear business language for executives and business leaders.
Louie has presented at Aviation Festival Americas, contributed articles to International Airport Review, and participated in public sector discussions on cybersecurity, innovation, A.I., and resilience. He holds security and cloud certifications and has completed the CIO.D program through the Rotman School of Management and CIOCAN.
